Costume Updates and Changes Ahead

This weekend I performed with my group Angel Hearts at the first Japan Center Anime Fair in San Francisco! I even debuted a new costume, the “Meruhen Maid” version of Haruka from IDOLM@STER, to match the new costumes they wore at Anime Destiny (when I couldn’t join them). I already added a costume page for it, so you can see photos of it in the Costumes section.

That event may have been my last cosplay event for the year. My personal life has become very busy. Currently, I’m taking weekly Japanese classes at a language school to prepare for level N2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. I’m also knee deep in job hunting. I don’t want to worry about costumes along with all of that right now! It was stressful enough preparing for Sunday’s event. I might still drop by Yaoi-Con this weekend, but I won’t be in costume.

If things calm down, I’d like to do a photoshoot or something before year’s end. I do have two costumes in progress right now that I’d love to see finished before 2012! But until then, I can’t promise anything. I have a ton of fantastic stuff planned for next year, so please look forward to it!

In the meantime, I’ll work on getting all of my past costumes up on this website. It still feels so incomplete and I want to fix that, so that’s my next task.
